On National Dog Day we want to wish this handsome fella a Happy 1 year Birthday. We can’t wait to keep watching Steeler grow. Give a little extra loving to those pooches today!
Meet Odin! We can assure you he’s already stolen the hearts of many of our staff here. We know his parents are so excited about welcoming him into their family, his two feline siblings however… well they’re still trying to figure out what exactly this bouncy golden fluffy thing this and why his meow sounds so strange
We love hearing the feedback! Our team is so proud to keep providing such compassionate care to our River Oaks Families!
Lorraine Green on 08/17/2018 We have been clients of Dr. Gold for almost 30 years. On her recent visit Mia was looked after very well. She needed grooming and she came away looking great! by Sallie Parker on 08/08/2018 Polite and friendly from time of booking appointment right through to paying the bill and walking out the door. Leo and I both enjoyed the experience and look forward to seeing the vet again by Mary Anne McDougall on 07/31/2018 I am very happy with the team at Animal Hospital of River Oaks. Dr “Mac” treated my 12 year old dog, Maggie for a skin condition that she has suffered with for several years. Her condition had worsened over time and the treatment she received from our regular vet was not helping. She is now much happier and the condition is under control. Dr. Mac is understanding, knowledgeable and compassionate. Her support team at the front desk are friendly and kind. Mary Anne and Maggie by Jan Nevins on 07/30/2018 Sammy is hiding in his secret places in the house, so he can avoid his eye gel medication. Sammy is too smart!!! by Anonymous on 07/26/2018 Animal Hospital of River Oaks has a very knowledgeable staff who is caring. Dr. Mac mad suggestions for some vaccines based on our outdoor lifestyle that my past two vets didn’t even mention. by Mary Anne Danelon on 07/24/2018 Staff is knowledgeable, effective, and friendly. by Anonymous on 07/19/2018 Very friendly and helpful. Made us feel very welcome, right from the beginning. by Heather McKechnie on 07/14/2018 As always, we were greeted warmly and promptly by reception. Dr. Gold took excellent care of Hamilton the hedgehog, and us! He truly seems to care about his patients, and is highly skilled and knowledgeable. The AHORO is our only choice for pet care Our feline friends can be a bit tricky when it comes to shedding the pounds which is why we are so excited to feature Daisy as our first cat Transformation of the Month. Daisy’s family has been extremely dedicated in helping her along her weight loss journey and we are delighted to celebrate their success.
“We adopted a kitten named Daisy in the fall of 2015. Shortly after she came to live with us she fell and broke her hip. While she recovered from the surgery that saved her, she was unable to run and jump and missing out on being an active kitten paved the wave for her to become overweight. During her well pet visit in the summer of 2017, Dr. Mac told us that Daisy had become overweight and explained the health concerns surrounding having a pet with weight issues. Daisy was 2 years old and weighed 7 kg at the time. Dr. Mac recommended a special food that we measure and give Daisy twice a day. Within 6 months Daisy was close to her target weight. Today Daisy is a much more active, very happy, 4.5 kg cat. Thank you Animal Hospital of River Oaks!” – Daisy’s Family Like if you think Daisy looks amazing.
